Formatting dates

Use this procedure to modify the output format of a content control date.

  1. Select the content control to format.
  2. In the Property Editor, select Date in the Value Type drop-down menu.
  3. Select the Use this locale when formatting value check box.
  4. Select a locale from the Custome Locale drop-down list.
  5. Select an Output Format from the drop-down list.
  6. Specify the Input format. This is the format of the data coming from the XML.
  7. Click Apply.
    This is a sample configuration:

    ZZDATE = 2017-12-05+01:00 as date type 5 Dec 2017 with document property en-GB
