Receivables
Automatic Cash Application option to process remittance records for first attempt only
When running Automatic Cash Application using the remittance method, the remittance records with status "Application Not Performed" are included by default. This may not be desirable because most of the time, if the application could not be performed previously, it will not be performed this time either. These remittance records always display in the remits tab of the Cash Application Result.
Program/Business class/Process affected:
- Automatic Cash Application
Use these steps to test the enhancement:
- Create valid and invalid payment remittance records.
- Run Automatic Cash Application with the new parameter flag blank (false).
- Create valid payment remittance records for a second payment.
- Run Automatic Cash Application with the new parameter flag true.
- Verify that the previously attempted remittance records are not listed.
