Allow Tax Exempt override on Add of item in RSS/Add Special or Service Item screen

In the current behavior, the requisition does not allow the item to be added as Tax Exempt. The defaulting results in the need to perform another step of updating the requisition line to make it tax-exempt. An override should be allowed for the instance of Add.

Requirement:

  • Changed the taxable field from a check box to a drop-down select.
  • Introduced new drop-down select options: blank, Yes, Tax-Exempt.

Use this information to test the enhancement:

  1. Test by adding a tax-exempt item from RSS Add Special and Service.
  2. Test by updating the cart line item to tax-exempt.

Enhance Manufacturer and Division filtering of items in RSS Advanced Search

RSS/ Advanced Catalog Search does not include the manufacturer division as keyword search criteria for looking up items specific to match only the code and division entered. Instead, all items having the same manufacturer code, regardless of division, are returned in the search result.

Requirements:

Added a filter condition to manufacturer keyword search in RSS/Advanced Catalog Search to consider the manufacturer division in looking up items with the code and division setup.

Note: A recreate must be run to update the Manufacturer Code\Division of old records for RSS/Advanced Catalog Search to pull using the Manufacturer field search.

Use this information to test the enhancement:

  1. Test by entering code and division to search for items with the matching code and division setup.
  2. Test by entering code and division to search for items with the matching code only.
  3. Test by entering code and division to search for items with the matching division only.
  4. Test for performance.
