Add Effort Variance Detail list to Project Accountant role

Add a new Effort Variance Detail list. Current effort variance list shows any variance in the period total where effort percent does not equal total actual labor percent. Customers want visibility to an record level variances.

1. Navigate to Project Accountant --> Project Management --> Effort Certification.

Add a new field to ProjectEmployee for “Redistribution Approver”

If Labor Distribution Approval is on, the individual approving labor redistribution could be different than the individual approving labor distribution.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

1. Verify that there is a new field on the ProjectEmployee for Redistribution Approver.
2. Verify that the existing approver field is renamed Labor Distribution Approver.

Add ability to send Labor Distribution Email notification to employees

Add ability to send an email notification to employees that it is time to enter actual salary labor percentages for the labor period and submit for approval. The email will be sent to all employees who have open project assignment labor records.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

1. From the Project Accountant role --> Project Management --> Labor Distribution --> By Period.
2. Verify that there is a new action Labor Distribution Email. This will send an email to all employees that have open project assignment labor records.

Add edit that labor distribution must equal 100% to approve or submit for approval

Customers wanted option to only approve labor distribution if the total actual labor distribution for the employee period is 100%

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

Verify boolean name on project structure: Require labor distribution must equal 100%.

When boolean in off, Mass Approve labor distribution job shows boolean for Approve 100% actual only.

With Require boolean on, the mass job boolean is not displayed.

With "required" boolean on, the entered labor gives error message if total is under or over 100% when trying to approve.

With "required" boolean off, the entered labor gives error message if total is over 100% when trying to approve, but allows approval if under 100%.

Add labor distribution confirmation message to approve or submit for approval actions

Users wanted a confirmation message when employees approve or submit for approval labor distribution.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

You can define a new Labor Distribution Confirmation on the project structure and if that is populated the user will receive a confirmation message when they approve or submit for approval there labor distribution. The confirmation message will also be presented for labor redistribution.
