Remove references to java programs and underlying source

These redundant batch jobs were removed:

  • Inventory Select ID List was already available on Physical Inventory > Manage Select IDs.
  • Replenishment PO Worksheet Report was already available on Inventory Reorder > Replenishment Purchase Order Requests.
  • Warehouse Shipment In Process were already available on Warehouse Processing > Shipments.

Add a list to identify items within 10 percent of reorder point

A list is required to proactively manage reordering to ensure stock does not run out.

Program/Business class/Process affected:

Added a tab on Inventory Manager home page for Reorder Status. This list identifies items within 10% of the reorder point. This list shows a red alert if the item is below the reorder point and shows a blue alert if the item has an order quantity.

Added a tab for Alerts. It was originally a menu item.

To test this enhancement, access the Inventory Manager home page and verify the changes.

Item form and dashboard UX enhancements

Several changes were made to the Item dashboard and form to take advantage of new UX capabilities in SoHo 4 UX:

  • Alerts for items 'On Contract', 'Recall Notices', 'Tracked In Alternate UOM'
  • Dashboard panels are hidden when they don't contain data
  • Dashboard panels sized to fit data
  • Form fields organized to better utilize form space

To test this enhancement, verify that all data is still displayed and can be created and maintained in the Item forms.

Added an Item Search menu for Inventory Manager on mobile app

This enhancement will create a new "Item Search" panel under Manage Items menu of Inventory Manager and Item Master Specialist role on mobile devices.

  1. Launch Infor Go app on a smartphone.
  2. Sign in as Inventory Manager or Item Master Specialist.
  3. Select the Manage Items menu to view Item Dashboard's search form and Item Search panel.
  4. Search Items by GTIN field on search forms.

Item Select List was restructured. The search form fields are put into the list columns and they can be filtered. Keyword search has been added.

Don't allow item to be entered when Auto Numbering is enabled

When creating an item, if the item group has automatic item numbering enabled, you could still specify an item number. This caused an error when attempting to save the record if a value was entered.

Now if the selected item group has automatic item numbering enabled, the item number cannot be specified.

To test this enhancement, confirm that Items can still be created for Item Groups that have automatic item numbering enabled and item groups that have automatic item numbering disabled.
