Add IDM Attributes for EFT Notification Print

Program/Business class/Process affected:

  • CompanyCustomer
  • idm-configuration.xml
  • IDM

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

Setup

  1. Select Company.
  2. Select the Use IDM Template check box.
  3. Assign templates.
  4. Select Processing Rules tab.
  5. Change the Payment Code to EFT.
  6. Set the Customer's default Bank's Type to Electronic Funds Transfer.
  7. Upload the new idm-configuration.xml file with the added new attributes.

Process

  1. Create batch and transaction and then release it.
  2. Verify EFT Adjustment.
  3. Perform EFT Notification Extract.
  4. Verify Generated EFT Notification Extract.
  5. Perform EFT Notification Print.
  6. Verify EFT Adjustment.
  7. Perform EFT Extract.
  8. Perform EFT Payment Creation.
  9. Verify that the Company Name and Customer Name are correct in IDM.

Dependencies:

  • Import the latest idm-configuration.xml.

Add IDM Attributes for Payables Invoice

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

Setup

  1. Select an Invoice Routing Rule for your Vendor.
  2. In the IDM Configuration, enable Update Payables Invoice Attributes.
  3. Enable Use IDM Template From the Payable Company.

Process

  • Generated Payables Invoice document using IDM:
    1. Create a chargeback or Debit Invoice.
    2. Check IDM and verify the new attributes Vendor Name and Company Name.
    3. Update Vendor Name and Company Name and manually approve the chargeback/Debit Invoice.
    4. Check IDM and verify the new attributes updated in the new version of the document.
    5. Update Vendor Name and Company Name again and perform Update Invoice Number check IDM and verify the new attributes updated in the new version again.
    6. Make another chargeback/Debit Invoice and generate.
    7. Check IDM and verify the new attributes.
    8. Update Vendor Name and Company Name again and perform Release.
    9. Check IDM and verify the new attributes updated in the new version of the document.
  • Generated Payables Invoice document through Scanned Document using IDM:
    1. Select Run Processes > Document Invoice Interface > Maintenance.
    2. Create a new Document Interface Invoice, Make sure Creation Source for the document is Capture Document BOD.
    3. Add a Scanned Document manually for the created record.
    4. Perform Interface This Invoice.
    5. In the Results, verify ensure that it is completed.
    6. Check IDM and find the document that is generated in Payables Invoice document type.
    7. Verify that the Vendor Name and Company Name attributes are correct.

Add IDM Attributes for Payment Request Notice

Use these steps to test the enhancement:

Setup

  1. Select Company.
  2. Select the Use IDM Template check box.
  3. Select Company Customer > Cash Application tab.
  4. Select the Print Chargebacks check box.
  5. Assign templates.
  6. Upload the new idm-configuration.xml file with the added new attributes.
Process
  1. Create a backdated invoice.
  2. Create a current-day dated payment, with amount less than the invoice.
  3. Cash apply with an adjustment set to Chargeback.
  4. Perform Process Selection.
  5. Run Application Close. Verify that Chargeback is available in result.
  6. Run chargeback creation. Verify that Chargeback is available in report.
  7. Run payment request notice.
  8. Verify that the Company Name and Customer Name attributes are correct in IDM.

Setup

Process
  1. Select Supply Management > Purchasing Processing > Manage Purchase Orders to Create Purchase Order.
  2. Create a Purchase Order.
  3. Specify the required information for the PO Header.
  4. Add Lines and Release.
  5. Select Supply Management > Purchase Processing > Manage Receiving > Receiving.
  6. Create a record, Receive All and Release.
  7. Generate Receiving Delivery and Putaway document.
  8. Verify that the Purchasing Company Name attribute is correct in IDM.

Process
  1. Create Inventoried Item from Inventory Transaction.
  2. Create Requisition for the item and assign the From Company and From Location.
  3. Add Lines.
  4. Perform Warehouse Picklist print.
  5. In Warehouse Shipment populate Bill of Lading Number and select a Carrier.
  6. Ship the record.
  7. Run warehouse Bill of lading, select bill of lading number and change the shipment status to Invoiced.
  8. Verify that the Company Name and Inventory Location Name attributes are correct in IDM.

  2. Create Requisition for the item and assign the From Company and From Location
  3. Add Lines.
  4. Perform Warehouse Picklist print.
  5. Open Warehouse shipment then populate POD returned date.
  6. Release warehouse shipment.
  7. Check IDM Job List.
  8. Run warehouse proof of delivery.
  9. Verify that the new Inventory Company Name attribute is correct in IDM.

Flexible Payment Amount in Words for IDM Check Printing

Program/Business class/Process affected:

  • New option in Cash Payment Format to setup formatting options for Amount in Words that will reflect in IDM Check output.
Use these steps to test the enhancement:
  1. Set up the new option in Cash Payment Format (Payment Check Formatting Options). This is only available when using IDM.
  2. Enter an amount in the Test Amount field and see the sample output.
  3. Once final with the setup and sample output, generate an IDM check.

    The amount in words should follow the formatting indicated on the option in Cash Payment Format.

  1. Verify that the sample templates for MSCM are available in this Path: Supply Management Administrator > Warehouse > Sample Warehouse Document Templates > Warehouse Pick List Print
  2. Verify that the generated Warehouse Pick List Documents using the new MSCM templates contain Bar Codes.

Show IDM Job Status in Purchase Order screen

Use these steps to test the enhancement:
  1. Perform Purchase Order Issue Final.
  2. When the IDM Job fails to generate, email, or print the Purchase Order, verify that it is displayed in the Purchase Order screen.
  3. When the IDM Job is successful, verify that the view document link is displayed in the Purchase Order screen and the IDMJob navigation is added in drill back.

Show additional information for Payment Check in IDM Job List

Additional Details field in My IDM Job details form will be populated with Transaction Numbers / Check Numbers. This is only applicable during Manual Batch Print of Check and Remittances. For Automatic printing will be released on the next CU.

Use these steps to test the enhancement:
  • To verify the IDM Test Connection, import idm-configuration.xml in Document Management (Requires IDM-Administrator role):
    1. In Document Management, go to Control Center by clicking the gear icon from the homepage.
    2. Under Administration group, select Import/Export.
    3. On the import tab, use the file selector to select the latest idm-configuration file.
    4. Click Import.
  • To verify in FSM:
    1. Sign in as Application Administrator.
    2. Select Supply Management > Shared Processes > IDM Configuration.
    3. Open or create a record.
    4. On the Connection tab, perform Test Connection.
