Copying a style

  1. Select Basics > Styles.
  2. Right-click a style that you want to make a copy of and select Copy / Variant.
You can also open a style then click the Copy/Variant Style icon or press Alt+C.

Depending on your permissions, you may see one or both of the options. If you cannot see the option that you require, contact your administrator or see the Infor CloudSuite PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

  3. Select Copy.
  4. Specify this information:
    Number
    Specify a style number.

If the ID generator is set up for the Style module and you do not specify a number, the ID generator automatically generates the number based on the next number in the series.

If the ID generator is not set up, you must specify a number. The application validates this field when you click OK.

    Name
Specify the name of the copied style.

By default, the name of the copy is the name of the style prefixed with the phrase "Copy of".

  5. Select information clusters whose contents will be copied for this copy.
By default, all information clusters are selected. You can clear items that you do not require.

You can only copy an information cluster if your role has the Copy permission for that cluster.

Note: If enabled in the settings, inactive colors are not copied.

Contact your administrator or see the Infor CloudSuite PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

  6. Click the Execute icon.
After the task is finished, the copied style appears in a new tab.
