Creating characteristics

  1. From the menu, select Basics > Characteristic.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Code
    Specify a code for the characteristic.
    Name
    Specify a name for the characteristic.
    Description
    Optionally, provide a description for the characteristic.
    Notes
    Optionally, provide any additional comments on your characteristic.
    Type
    Select Style, Material, Trim, or Size as a characteristic type.
    Note: Size as a characteristic type is used to add another size dimension to your sizes, such as cup size, inseam length, and width.
    Status
    Select a status. To use a characteristic, select Active or any user-defined status that has Active as its base status.
  4. To add characteristic value details, click Add New Row.
  5. Specify this information:
    Code
    Specify a code for the characteristic value.
    Name
    Specify a name for the characteristic value.
    Description
    Optionally provide a description for the characteristic value.
  6. Click Save.
