Extended fields

Use extended fields to create customs fields that are attached to a specific entity. You can create extended fields for style, material, and trim, and you can add these fields on overview tabs and list view only.

You can create these custom fields:

• Text - a field that can contain alphanumeric characters.
• Number - field that can contain numeric characters only.
• Date - a date picker field.
• Drop down - a field that can have predefined list of values.

For users to see the extended fields, these fields must be added on custom views. When adding extended fields to custom views, these fields are listed at the end of the available fields of a list view and binding fields of a details view. Extended fields can be identified easily with a prefix Extended Field added on the name.
