Creating trims from the extension

  1. From the extension home screen, click Trim.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the Main Information section, specify this information:
    Note: Some fields may have dependencies to other fields because of how your data hierarchy is defined and how your access to data hierarchy levels is configured.

    For generic lookup fields, Brand for example, the values that appear also depend on the hierarchy and the structure assigned to you on the hierarchy.

    Number
    Specify a number. The number serves as the identifying code for the trim within the application.

    The number should be unique. Two or more items cannot have the same number.

    If a ID numbering rule is set up, the ID generator automatically generates a number when you save the record.

    Name
    Specify a name for the trim.
    Description
    Specify a description for the trim.
    Status
    Select a status from the list.
    Main Category
    Select a main category from the list. Main categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Category
    Select a category from the list. Categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Category Group
    Select a category group from the list. Category groups are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Material Type
    Select the material type of the trim.
    Season
    Select a season from the list. Seasons are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Brand
    Select a brand from the list. Brands are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Division
    Select a division from the list. are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
  4. In the Ownership Information section, select a Designer from the list.
  5. Click Save.
