Copying a style using a template

  1. Select Basics > Styles.
  2. Right-click a style that you want to make a copy of and select Copy / Variant.
You can also open a style then click the Copy/Variant Style icon or press Alt+C.

Depending on your permissions, you may see one or both of the options. If you cannot see the option that you require, contact your administrator or see the Infor CloudSuite PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

  3. Select Copy.
  4. Specify this information:
    Number
    Specify a style number.

If the ID generator is set up for the Style module and you do not specify a number, the ID generator automatically generates the number based on the next number in the series.

If the ID generator is not set up, you must specify a number. The application validates this field when you click OK.

    Name
Specify the name of the copied style.

By default, the name of the copy is the name of the style prefixed with the phrase "Copy of".

  5. Select a template from the Load Template list. If you have defined favorite templates, they appear first in the list. If you have used templates before, the last used template is selected.
You can also select a template from the Templates pane by clicking the Templates icon, right click on a template and select Load.
  6. If your settings allow, you can select information clusters that are not included in the selected template. You can unselect information clusters despite the settings. You can select the information clusters that you have unselected.
If your role does not have permission on any of the information clusters that are included in the template, they are not included in the copied style.

See the Infor CloudSuite PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

  7. Click the Execute icon.
