Assigning a user as IDM background service account

To prevent congesting the Infor Document Management background service during synchronization of large volume of documents from IDM to CloudSuite PLM for Fashion, you can create a dedicated CloudSuite PLM for Fashion user account and assign that account for the IDM background service.

The account to be assigned to the IDM background service should at least one of these IDM security roles assigned to it:

• IDM-Administrator
• IDM-AdvancedUser
• IDM-RelatedInformationUser
• IDM-SuperUser
• IDM-User

Create a dedicated CloudSuite PLM for Fashion user account to be assigned as the IDM background service account.

A user account can be set as the IDM background service account even if it has no IDM security role as long as it has an Infor-SystemAdministrator security role.
