Managing users

To manage users, you must understand the components that, when put together, determine user access and authorization to application features.

User management in CloudSuite PLM for Fashion contains these components:

• Users, which map to an Infor Ming.le account.
• Permissions, which represent a Boolean state that indicates whether or not a user has rights to perform a specific task.
• Roles, which map to a real-world model and contains one or more permissions. The mapped roles of permissions define the access privileges of a user.
• User groups, which offer a grouping mechanism to collect users that require the same roles, user permissions, or data access.
