Create a personalized details page view
After defining basic view information, use these steps to define a details page view.
- Select Available Controls.
- Specify this information:
- Containers
- Select a container from the list. Containers define the sections of your view.
- Standard
- Drag and drop standard controls from the pane to the page canvass.
- Sub Entity
- Optionally select a sub entity to display in the details page.

To personalize control properties, select a control that you added to the
page.
The Control Properties section displays available personalization options for the selected control.

Specify this information:
- ID
- Specify the ID for the control.
- Label
- Specify a label for the control. The label is the name that is displayed for users.
- Entity
- This field displays the entity that serves as the data context for this control.
- Binding Field
- Select the binding field that connects the control to a specific database column. For example, if the control pertains to the Code field, select Code as the binding field to connect the control to that database column.
- Required
- Select this check box to make the control mandatory for users to accomplish.
- Read Only
- Select this check box to make the control read only.
- Visible on AI
- Select this field to make a field visible on the Adobe Illustrator extension.
- Show Header
- For section control only. Select to display section heading.
- Collapse
- For section control only. Select to display the section as collapsed by default.
Note: Fields that are described here pertain to basic options. Other fields can be available depending on the selected control. - Click Save.
