Configuring BOM settings

  1. From the menu, select Setup > Settings > BOM Details.
  2. Specify the number of decimal places that you want to use to define BOM quantity.
  3. In the BOM Color Format section, select the way colors are shown in BOM columns.
    Option Description
    Code Select to display the color code only.
    Name Select to display the name of the color only.
    Code and Name Select to display the code and name of the color.
  4. Select With Pitch to display the color itself aside from the code or name.
  5. In BOM Details Update section:
    1. Select Always cascade to Style BOM any saved changes made to related fields in Material record so that changes to values in a material are reflected on style records that contain that material as its BOM line.
    2. Select Always cascade to Style BOM any saved changes made to related fields in Trim record so that changes to values in a trim are reflected on style records that contain that trim as its BOM line.
    Changes are only reflected from material or trim to style BOM when the material or trim record is saved. Only related fields that appear in Material or Trim Overview are updated in style BOM.

    When you add a supplier or image to a material or trim record, the record is automatically saved but not reflected in the style BOM where that material or trim is contained. You have to save that material or trim record manually so that the change is reflected in the style BOM.

  6. Click Save.
