Defining data hierarchy

You must define at least one data hierarchy level to enable application users to access data.
Note: Only one generic lookup type can serve as the top level.
  1. From the menu, select Setup > Hierarchy.
  2. Click Add.
    The Generic Lookups pane is displayed.
  3. Select a generic lookup type to add.
  4. Select generic lookup items and click Add Lookups.
  5. Drag and drop generic lookup items alongside each other to arrange them in a hierarchy.
