Personalization

Views are personalized layouts of the application. When you create views, you personalize the presentation of content and functionality for users based on the permissions of their role. You can create views for entities and corresponding sub entities of the application by using system-defined views as the basis for personalization.

You can personalize the view of application entities and sub entities in these areas:

• Select Details to create a personalized view of a data record. For example, if you select Color as the entity for this new view, you create a personalized view of the color details page.
• Select Listing to create a view layout for a search grid page. In CloudSuite PLM for Fashion, a grid is a page that presents your data in a tabular structure of rows and columns.
