Creating statuses
You can create any user-defined status for a business component.
- Select Setup > Status.
 - Click the New icon.
 - Specify this information:
- Business Component
 - 
								
Select the business component where you want to define the status.
Choose from BOM and Costing as Business Components.
 - Name
 - Specify the status name.
 - Sequence
 - Specify the sequence number for organizing the status.
 - Description
 - Specify a brief description.
 - Base Status
 - 
								
Specify the base status.
Choose from Active and Inactive as Base Status.
 
 - Click Save or Save and Close.
