Extracting .DLL files

.DLL files from Infor Fashion PLM are grouped into these folders:

  • ADMINISTRATION contains files related to managing the Admin menu in Infor Fashion PLM.
  • BASE contains files that do not fall under Administration and FSH. Examples of BASE files include functions under Actions, Basics, Setup, and Report and Tracking menus.
  • FSH contains files from all the modules in Infor Fashion PLM.
  • ARPBackgroundTasks, which is under the FSH folder, contains necessary files to enable running background tasks in Infor Fashion PLM.

To begin using the Localization Tool, you must extract .DLL files from Infor Fashion PLM. When you extract .DLL files, the .DLL files are automatically converted to .RES file format.

Note: If you are using an upgraded version of the tool, you must extract the .DLL files to ensure that you have the updated version of the resource files.

  1. From the toolbar, click Extract DLL File.
    A message verifying that all .DLL files have been successfully extracted is displayed.
  2. Optionally, to view downloaded .RES files, click a folder in the Working Area.
    .RES files are displayed in the navigation pane.
