Create permission for accessing the cost element properties of style records

Initially, newly created user profiles have the permission to create and update the Cost Element properties on the Costing tab of Style records. To limit this access, the administrator can modify the read and write permission for each user.

  1. Select Admin > Manage Roles.
  2. Select the role to add permission on.
  3. From the Add/Edit Roles dialog box, go to License Module and select Infor Fashion PLM.
  4. In the Selected Authorities list, search for Style Cost Element Properties.
  5. Select the permission for the role:
    • Style Cost Element Properties (Read Only)
      Note: The Read Only authority update only applies to the already created style cost elements. With this authority, you can only add the already created cost elements to the style cost properties. Modifying the existing and added cost elements is not permitted. Alternatively, creating on-the-fly cost elements are enabled. There are no restrictions to updating the manually created cost elements and you can add them to the style costs.

  6. Click Save and Close.
