Profiles

A user is a PAH or a licensed module user who interacts with the system to perform a set of actions. A user is also mapped to a Windows user account, forming a bridge between the standard Windows user and a PAH user.

A user profile is an abstraction layer that provides the ability to group roles. A user may be mapped to one or more profiles, and each profile may be mapped to one or more Roles. This gives the User the ability to choose between the various profiles that has been assigned to the user account. User actions are granted or denied access based on the users' associated profile, roles, and authorities.
