Infor Fashion PLM Localization Tool overview

The Infor Fashion PLM Localization Tool is a language translation application that modifies the Infor Fashion PLM application to adapt to linguistic, cultural, and technical requirements of a target market. The tool enables you to perform these functions:

• Extract .DLL files from Infor Fashion PLM. Dynamic link library (.DLL) files contain keys and their corresponding text in the default language (English - US) of the application. When you extract .DLL files from Infor Fashion PLM to the Localization Tool, the files are converted and displayed as resource (.RES) files.
• Edit .RES files. You can add or modify default language text for each Infor Fashion PLM key by providing equivalent text for a specific language. For example, you can specify equivalent values of each key in French or Chinese.
• Compile .RES files as .DLL files. After you add or modify language text in .RES files, the Localization Tool enables you to compile .RES files and convert them as .DLL files. These modified .DLL files can then be applied to Infor Fashion PLM, providing users the option to view the application indifferent languages.
