Mapping a content document to a landing page

Documents created from templates are already associated with their corresponding pre‑built landing pages. The Subject data item on the document matches the subject value of the landing page and is preset. You typically do not need to change this value.

You configure the Section data item to place the document link in the appropriate section of the landing page. The section value corresponds to one of the nine main landing page sections or to the related links or forms sections. For example, if the landing page subject is pay, the value for the second section is pay_2.

Refer to the Landing Page Planner or the data items defined on landing pages to identify the correct subject and section values.

  1. Log in to HRSD Knowledgebase.
  2. On the Home page, click the ellipsis icon.
  3. Select Document Manager.
  4. If the document is not yet published, click Edit. If it is published, select the name of the document.
If the document isn't checked out by another user, it becomes checked out and available for editing. If the document is checked out by another user, you can't check out the document until the other user checks it in.
  5. Click the document title drop-down.
  6. Select Data Items.
  7. Click the section data item.
  8. Configure the data item using the choices provided and adding the section number to the end of the pre-built tag. For examples, pay_2.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click the exit icon to close the Configure Data Items menu.
  11. Select Check In > Check In.
  12. Publish the document.
