Content document

A content document is the finished web page that end users or employees can access in the HRSD Knowledgebase. Use content documents to present HCM information, such as policies, options, and forms, and make that information available through landing pages and navigation.

For example, you can map a Medical Benefits content document to the Health & Wellness landing page so employees can access the information from that area of the portal.

HRSD Knowledgebase includes pre‑built templates for content documents. These templates provide a consistent layout and navigation structure and determine which configuration options are available for a content document.

Depending on the type of content to deliver, you can create content documents as copies, children, or references of source documents. For example, you must create integration link documents, such as Redirect URLs and Related Links, as reference documents instead of copies.
