Uploading images

Before you can insert an image, you must upload it to the image library. When you finish uploading using the process outlined here, click the related links for specific information about inserting the image on the landing page.

Check each landing page for data items that may be used to insert an image that has been uploaded.

  1. Log in to the HRSD Knowledgebase.
  2. On the Home page, click the ellipsis icon.
  3. Select Document Manager.
  4. If the document is not yet published, click Edit. If it is published, select the name of the document.
    If the document is not checked out by another user, it becomes checked out and available for editing. If the document is checked out by another user, you cannot check out the document until the other user checks it in.
  5. In Edit mode, click into the content area to place the image.
  6. Click the Insert/Edit Image button from the toolbar. If you do not see this icon, open the Full Editor from the formatting toolbar.
  7. Click Upload.
  8. On your computer, locate and select the image to upload to the image library.
    Note: Before uploading the image, rename the image file name to remove all spaces and special characters.
  9. Click Open.
  10. Click Upload.
  11. In Edit mode, click the source code view.
  12. Take note of the URL or path of the image to use it for the data items pointing to the image.
