Organizing report data by group

In some reports, you can organize and view data by group.

To organize data by group, you must first apply a group filter. When the filter is applied, the controls for organizing data by group become available. If no filter is applied, the report shows all data in the system.

If a user belongs to more than one selected group, the user’s data is displayed in each relevant group section. For example, if user jsmith is in groups A and B, data for jsmith is displayed in the section for group A and in the section for group B.

  1. Select Knowledgebase > Analytics > Knowledgebase Analytics.
  2. Select a category.
  3. Select a report to filter.
  4. To organize data by group, select By Group.
  5. To combine data associated with all selected groups into a single section, select All.
