Statement customization

You can customize statements to meet the requirements of your organization by modifying the statement layout and configuring statement components.

Configuring statement formulas

  1. Log in to HR Service Delivery.
  2. Click Knowledgebase to open the navigation panel.
  3. Select Administration > Total Rewards Admin > Manage Statements.
  4. Locate the statement to update and click the Manage icon that corresponds to the statement to configure.
  5. Select a period from the Periods list.
  6. In the Menu Items tab, locate the statement menu item to configure.
  7. Click the Edit button that corresponds to the menu item.
  8. Select a user emulation.
  9. Click the ellipsis.
  10. Select Designer > Formulas.
  11. To add a formula:
    1. Click Add.
    2. Specify this information:
      Formula Name
      Specify a name for the formula.
      Formula
      Specify the calculation logic that defines the mathematical relationship between statement data.
    3. Click Save.
  12. To configure an existing formula:
    1. Select a formula from the list.
    2. Configure the formula as required.
    3. Click Save.
  13. To delete formulas:
    1. Select one or more formulas from the list.
    2. Click Delete.
    3. Click Ok.

Configuring statement menu items

  1. Log in to HR Service Delivery.
  2. Click Knowledgebase to open the navigation panel.
  3. Select Administration > Total Rewards Admin > Manage Statements.
  4. Locate the statement to update and click the Manage icon that corresponds to the statement to configure.
  5. Select a period from the Periods list.
  6. In the Menu Items tab, locate the statement menu item to configure.
  7. Click the Edit button that corresponds to the menu item.
  8. Select a user emulation.
  9. Click the ellipsis.
  10. Select Designer > Add menu item.
  11. To add a menu item:
    1. Click Add menu.
    2. Specify this information:
      Page Label
      Specify a page label for the menu item.
      Order
      Set the position of the menu item in the statement. Leave this field blank to place the menu item last.
      Parent Menu
      Select a parent menu to which the menu item is grouped.
      Visible When
      Specify the conditions that determine when the element is displayed. Leave blank to always show the element.
    3. Click Save.
  12. To configure an existing menu item:
    1. Select a menu item.
    2. Configure the fields as required.
    3. Click Update.
    4. Select Groups > Assigned Groups to unassign groups from the menu item.
    5. Select Groups > Unassigned Groups to assign groups to the menu item.

Adding a widget to a statement

  1. Log in to HR Service Delivery.
  2. Click Knowledgebase to open the navigation panel.
  3. Select Administration > Total Rewards Admin > Manage Statements.
  4. Locate the statement to update and click the Manage icon that corresponds to the statement to configure.
  5. Select a period from the Periods list.
  6. In the Menu Items tab, locate the statement menu item to configure.
  7. Click the Edit button that corresponds to the menu item.
  8. Select a user emulation.
  9. Click the ellipsis.
  10. Select Designer > Add menu item.
  11. Locate the widget to add and click the + icon that corresponds to the widget.

Configuring the layout of statements

  1. Log in to HR Service Delivery.
  2. Click Knowledgebase to open the navigation panel.
  3. Select Administration > Total Rewards Admin > Manage Statements.
  4. Locate the statement to update and click the Manage icon that corresponds to the statement to configure.
  5. Select a period from the Periods list.
  6. In the Menu Items tab, locate the statement menu item to configure.
  7. Click the Edit button that corresponds to the menu item.
  8. Select a user emulation.
  9. Click the ellipsis.
  10. Click Edit Layout.
  11. Update the number of columns displayed on the statement:
    1. Select Column Number.
    2. Select one of these column number options:
      • One Column
      • Two Columns
      • Three Columns
      • Mixed Column
      Note: Mixed Column contains one widget that spans the full page width and a section below that supports a multi‑column layout. You can arrange the widgets below the full‑width widget in two or three columns.
    3. If you select Mixed Column, use the 2 (Default) menu to select 2 (Default) or 3 for the number of columns displayed below the full-width widget on the statement.
  12. If you select Two Columns, set the width of the columns displayed on the statement:
    1. Select Column Width.
    2. Select one of these column width options:
      • 80/20
      • 70/30
      • 60/40
      • 50/50
      • 40/60
      • 30/40
      • 20/80

      The default value is 50/50.

  13. Arrange the widgets in the statement by dragging the widgets to a new position.
  14. Click Save.
