Fields
Fields are individual input areas within a form that allow users to provide specific information. Each field is set to capture a particular type of data, such as text, numbers, or dates. Administrators can configure fields to meet the requirements of different processes and ensure that the collected information is accurate and relevant.
Types of fields
This table shows the types of fields that you can add to a form:

| Plain Text | Use this field to show static, non-editable text for instructional or descriptive content. You can apply font styles, colors, alignment, lists, and other formatting options. |
| Dropdown | Use this field to provide a list of predefined options for selection. you can configure dropdowns separately and reuse it across multiple forms. |
| Text | Use this field to capture short alphanumeric input such as names and addresses. The maximum character count is 250. |
| Number | Use this field to capture numeric values only. |
| Date | Use this field to capture a date value consisting of a day, month, and year. |
| Textarea | Use this field to capture extended text input for detailed responses. The maximum character limit is 4,000. |
