Viewing cases within Ask HR for Managers

The default view shows active cases only in Ask HR for Managers, but display options include active cases only, archived cases only, or a combination of both.

As a manager, you can close and reopen a case if allowed by configuration. You cannot reopen archived cases.

  1. In Ask HR for Managers, select View > Submitted Cases.
  2. To view your own cases, select My Own Cases.
  3. To view the cases that your employees are sharing with you, select Shared Cases.
  4. To view the cases that you created for your direct reports, select Direct Report Cases.
  5. To view cases by employee, select My Direct Reports.
  6. Click the case number. If the case status is Open, then you can add notes and attachments to communicate with the agent working on the case.
