Adding an attachment to an email

You can add files that have been attached to a case to an ad hoc email. You might request to configure the application so that you can attach files from your personal computer. The user interface differs, depending on your organization's configuration of the application.
  1. If the application is configured to attach files from the case form only, click Add.
  2. If the application is configured to attach files from the case and your personal computer, select Add > Browse to select a file from your computer. You can also select Add > From Case to select a file from the case.
  3. If the application is configured to attach only files that are attached to the case from the email form, select Add > Add to locate the file from your personal computer.
  4. Specify this information:
    File
    Click Browse to search for a file and attach it to the email.
    Title
    The title of the attachment.
    Show To Employee
    You can make the attachment available to the employee, or you can hide it from the employee. Available only when the case is shown to the employee.
  5. Click Upload.
  6. Close the form.
