Landing page configuration
A landing page is a main page on your site where content is organized by theme. Examples include Leaves & Time Off and Pay. The Leaves & Time Off landing page has links to content pages where policies, options and forms that relate to time off are presented in detail. Use landing pages to logically organize the content on your site.
Your portal includes pre-built landing pages with matching content page templates. Later you'll create content pages that are based on the content page templates and map them to the landing pages. You can also add custom landing pages, map content pages to them, and then link them together.
In this part of the basic setup process, you prepare the standard, pre-built landing pages by naming the landing pages, assigning group access and setting the placement of the landing page link in the navigation menu.
