Adding an attachment to an email

You can add files that have been attached to a case to an ad hoc email. Your application might be configured to enable you to attach files from your personal computer as well. The user interface differs, depending on your organization's configuration of the application.
  • If your organization allows you to attach only files that are attached to the case: From the email form, select Add > Add.

  1. If the system is configured so that you can attach files from the case form only, clickAdd. If the system is configured so that you can attach files from the case form and from your personal computer, select Add > Browse to select a file from your computer or Add > From Case to select a file from the case.
  2. Specify this information:
    File
    Click Browse to search for a file and attach it to the email.
    Title
    The title of the attachment.
    Show To Employee
    You can make the attachment available to the employee, or you can hide it from the employee. Available only when the case is shown to the employee.
  3. Click Upload.
  4. Close the form.
