Configuring email settings on the Infor side

Infor must complete this scheduled automated task:

Process Email – This task iterates through the new email and attachment records to identify the sender as an employee that belongs to a Case Management population and validates against configuration settings attempting to generate a case. This task must be scheduled in conjunction with the fetch email task that precedes it.

You can configure the system to ignore specific image files, URLs or blocks of text that are contained in the body of an inbound email. Items that are not configured to be ignored are saved as case attachments. Text that is not configured to be ignored is included in the Issue of the case.
Note: When configuring the system to ignore special characters, like copyright and registered trademark symbols, the best practice is to add both the special character symbol and the text version of the symbol individually. For example, for copyright, add © and (c).
  1. Log in as CMsetup administrator.
  2. Select Administration > Case Management Admin.
  3. Click Email Channels.
  4. Click Properties.
  5. Click Add and select an option.
  6. Specify a valid URL, a file, or text and click Add.
