Countdown timer widget configuration

Customers can configure a widget that counts down the time until an important event or deadline. This widget can be used to notify employees of upcoming events, such as open enrollment.

The timer can be configured in two ways:

  • Single-date timer--With the single-event setting, the clock can be set to show the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds before open enrollment begins or ends. For example, Open Enrollment Starts in 10 Days 12 Hours 30 Minutes 5 Seconds
  • Double-date timer--With the two-event setting, the clock can be set to show the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds before open enrollment begins and ends. For example, Open Enrollment Starts in 10 Days 12 Hours 30 Minutes 5 Seconds, and Open Enrollment Ends in 14 Days 8 Hours 5 Min 15 Seconds

Customers can configure multiple countdown timer widgets, each for a different event, and use them on the Home page simultaneously.

Each countdown timer widget can include an image and introductory text.

Single-timer countdown widget elements

Single-timer countdown widgets count down to a single date and time. It can be used to count down to the start of an event or to the end of an event.

  • A message that is shown as the countdown runs. For example, "Mandatory compliance training is due:"
  • A message that is shown when the countdown concludes. For example, "The deadline for mandatory compliance training has passed. If you did not complete training during the allowable time period, training will be rescheduled."

Double-timer countdown widget elements

Double-timer countdown widgets use two consecutive countdown timers. Usually these are used to mark the start time of an event and the end time of the same event. When the first timer counts down to zero, the second timer is triggered.

  • A message that is shown as the first countdown runs. For example,"Open enrollment begins in:"
  • A message that communicates the purpose of the second timer and that as shown after the first countdown has finished and while the second countdown runs. For example, "Open enrollment ends in:"
  • A message that is shown when the second countdown concludes. For example, "Open enrollment has concluded. For more information, contact your HR representative."
