Adding link lists

Link lists contain links to pages, topics, or other sites. Links must be contained within link lists.

  1. Access the document manager.
  2. Click the page that you want to edit. If the page is not checked out by another user, the system checks it out, and it is ready for editing. If the page is checked out by another user, you are not permitted to check it out until it is checked in again.
  3. With the page open in Edit mode, right-click the content area where you want to add the link list and select Add Linklist. The Add Linklist menu opens. Do not left-click the content area to open it for editing.
  4. Specify this information:
    Editor Label
    The editor label for the link list is auto-generated by the system. It can be overwritten. The editor label is visible only in the editor. It is not shown in the published page.
    To insert a heading above the list of links, use this field to place a header over the list of links. To use no heading, leave this field blank.
    To add a description of the link list, use this field to add the text. To use no description, leave this field blank.

    Block Column
    Leave blank.
  5. Click Save. The Add Linklist menu closes. Now you can add links to the link list.
