Versions

Each time a document is checked in, a new version is created. You can view and recover previous versions of a document, view check in notes, view the dates and times each version was checked in, and export a version of a document to Microsoft Word. These actions are performed when you are viewing the document or when you have checked it out for edting.

To view a list of document versions: Select Views > Versions.

To view a specific version of the document, click on the name.

To export the version to Microsoft Word, click the radio button that corresponds to the version and click Export to Word. The Microsoft Word file is sent to your email account as an attachment.

To recover a version, click the radio button that corresponds to the version and click Recover. A new document is created based on that version of the document. The name is the same as the current version, but the code and file name differ from those assigned to the current version. You can edit and publish the new document.
