Home page configuration

The Home page is a user's introduction to the portal and the first page available at each login. The Home page is built on a widget-based framework that includes a tile-style widget board and a collection of widgets. Administrators can control the initial configuration of widgets on the Home page. Administrators can pin widgets to specific locations on the Home page. Individual users can add or remove available widgets. Individual users can organize open widgets on the page by dragging and dropping them, but users cannot move pinned widgets. An individual's Home page configuration is saved so that it is available at subsequent logins. .

Depending on how your portal's permissions are set up, content editors and administrators can configure some of the pre-delivered widgets. They can also add widgets that link to landing pages by selecting and applying the widget option on those landing pages.
