Formatting text in HTML

If edits beyond the scope of the text editors is required, a user may edit text manually in the HTML editor. For example, if a user wants to italicize a single word in a paragraph, the user would access the HTML and edit the code.

  1. Click the Document Manager button. The Document Manager opens, showing all pages in the system.
  2. Click the Edit button that is associated with the page that you want to edit. If the page is not checked out by another user, the system checks it out, and it is ready for editing. If the page is checked out by another user, you are not permitted to check it out until it is checked in again.
  3. With the page open in Edit mode, click the text block that you want to edit.
  4. Click the Source code button.
  5. Edit the code and click OK.
  6. When you have finished editing the page, click the Save button.
