Adding the floor and ceiling for a room category

  1. Click Menu > Settings > Properties.
  2. Find the property to edit, then click its Edit icon.
    To search for a property:
    1. Choose a column, then specify the text or value in the Search field.
    2. Click the Filter icon.
    3. Select a search criterion from the list.
  3. Click the Room Category tab.
    Note: Each property can have only one reference room category.
  4. Click the Plus sign, then specify this information:
    Note: The Plus sign is enabled only if at least a room type is mapped to a room category that is currently not in the displayed list. The room type to room category mapping is managed in the Room Types screen.
    Room Category
    Select a code from the list.
    Note: If you select a room category code that already exists in the table, a message is displayed and the Save button is disabled.
    Floor
    Specify lowest price for the reference room type within the room category.
    Ceiling
    Specify the highest price for the reference room type within the room category.
  5. Click Save.
    Save is disabled if a required field is empty or if an error message is displayed.
