Adding an event

Follow these steps to add events:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Property > Events
  2. On the upper right side of the screen, click the + icon, then specify this information:
    Event Name
    Specify the name of the event. The name must be unique.
    Event Type
    Select one of these event types:
    • Event: An event within or near to the hotel.
    • Closed Property: A period of time where the hotel was closed. For example, due to repair or off-season.
    • Bad Data: A period of time when a technical issue affected the data. For example, broken snapshots.
    If Event is selected as Event Type, you msut specify one of these options:
    • Low
    • Medium
    • High
    • Informative
    Start Date
    Specify the start date of the event. You cannot specify a start date lower than the extraction date.
    End Date
    Specify the end date of the event.
  3. Click Save.
    Save is disabled if a required field is empty or if an error message is displayed.
