Mobile Supervisor Approval

This functionality is used if approval is required from a supervisor or manager. You must select the property parameter MOBILEAUTH to enable this feature.

When Field level changes, or High Cash Payment, or Rate Update require the supervisor’s approval the user can send the Approval request message to the Supervisor’s Mobile App. The user must select the supervisor and add a comment on the window:

  • The Field Level Supervisor Authorization window is displayed when field level authorization is required for Do Not Move and Unavailable sell option and AR Account is more than the credit limit. The supervisor receives the Approval Supervisor Message on the supervisor’s device. After the response from the supervisor the Field Level Supervisor Authorization window is closed. The field level authorization is applicable to the screens such as, Folio, Lease schedule, Lease upgrade, Post Payment, Check-out, Stay 360 and Direct Bill Transfer.
  • The High Cash Payment Require Manager Approval window is displayed when high cash payments are posted on the screens such as Folio, Advance Deposit, and Post Payment.
  • The Rate Update window is displayed when the user is not authorized to override the rate on the screens such as Stay Wizard and Guest Stay.

When user submits the request, the supervisor receives the Approval Request message on the mobile. The Supervisor can approve or reject the request. The HMS receives an approved or rejected message from the mobile. The user is returned to the initial screen.
