Generating the Group Block Report

  1. Select Administration > Reports > Groups > Group Block Report. The Group Block Report screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information in the Report Parameters section:
    Property
    The property for which the report is printed. By default, the section property is displayed.
    Note: You can modify this value.
    Group Confirmation
    The unique confirmation number of the group. The report includes the record of the specified number.
    Note: You can select multiple Group Confirmation.
    Group Type
    The type of booking groups available for the property.
    Group Status
    The status of the group booking.
    Note: You can select multiple Group Status.
    Reservation Method
    The method of reservation.
    Room Type
    The room type of the group for which the report is printed.
    Sales Manager
    The salesperson (employee) of the group sales for who the report is printed.
  3. Set these parameters in the Report Options section:
    Include Day Use in Revenue
    Select this check box to include records of reservations with the same Arrival Date and Departure Date.
    Include Day Use in Rooms and Revenue
    Select this check box to include Rooms and Revenue details of reservations with the same Arrival date and Departure date.
    Include Groups with No Blocks
    Select this check box to include groups that have no blocks for the specified Group Status.
    Include Tentative Groups not Affecting Availability
    Select this check box to include groups with Tentative status. Also, the Tentative Room Block Affects House Availability check box on the Block tab of the Group Booking screen must not be selected for the group.
    Show Manager Totals
    Select this check box to include the totals of the manager.
    Show Details
    Select this check box to include details of the Room Type.
    Include Contracted Rooms
    Select this check box to include the number of contracted rooms associated with the group.
  4. Specify the Start Date and End Date in the Date Range section.
    Note: 
    • By default, the Start Date is set to the current Hotel Date.
    • By default, the End Date is set to six days after the current Hotel Date.
  5. Click Print Report.
    Note: 

    You can select one of these options in the Sort By section to sort the record:

    • Group Name
    • Start Date
    • End Date
    • Planned Release Date
    • Sales Manager
    • Group Block

    By default, the Start Date option is selected.
