Using the Activity Booking Calendar

The Activity Booking Calendar screen displays the actvities booked for a specified guest stay or a guest profile as a swim lane representation. A swim lane is a visual representation of activities related to a process flow or workflow.
  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay > Activities (Action) > Calendar View.
    Note: 
    • You can also access this screen by selecting Profiles > Guest Profiles > Activities (Action) > Calendar View.
    • You can also access this screen by selecting Group Sales > Group Booking > Activities (Action) > Calendar View.
  2. The activities are displayed for a specified guest stay based on the following data context fields:
    Start Date
    Specify the date for which the activities must be displayed.
    Time Increment
    Specify the time increments by which the activity duration is split.
    Start Time
    Specify the time from which the activity starts. The swim lane displays the activity duration as time incremements, starting from this value.
  3. To filter the activities based on the status, you can select:
    • Show Booked
    • Show Pending
    • Show Cancelled
  4. Click Search.
The application displays the activity as a block in the swim lane. The block represents the start time and the end time. If you hover over the activity block, the application displays the details related to:
  • The activity booked
  • The guest stay/guest profile for whom the activity is booked
  • The activity provider
  • The duration of the activity.
Note: 
  • If multiple activities are booked for a guest stay, on the same day(overlapping activities), the activities are displayed as individual/parallel blocks in the swim lane.
  • If the activity schedule is set to Daily in the Activity Configuration/ Book Activity page, the whole day is displayed.
