Displaying fields on the online check-in and check-out screen

Use the Check-in and CheckOut Field Configuration tab to modify the Display Type of the fields linked to the online check-in and check-out screens.
Note: 
  • The application defaults the value in the Exception by field from the Check-in/Checkout Page Configuration tab.
  • By default, the Property field is set to the current session property.

To display fields:

  1. Select Administration > Property > Setup > Online Guest Experience Configuration. The Online Guest Experience Configuration screen is displayed.
  2. Select Check-in/Checkout Field Configuration tab.
  3. Select the screen from the list.
  4. Click Run to view the Field, Display Type, and Exception Level fields on the grid.
  5. Select the field of the screen on the grid.
    Note: You can select multiple fields.
  6. Right-click on the selection.
  7. Click the Update Field option. The Update Field window is displayed.
  8. Select the New Value. These values are available based on the Field Attribute (FLDATT) which is defined in the Global Codes:
    • Hidden
    • Optional
    • Protected
    • Required
  9. Click Submit.
  10. Click Close.
