Configuring the IDeaS extract job

The IDeaS Extract job is configured through set up in two screens in the HMS application:

  1. In the Administration > Daily Processing > Additional End of Day Processes.
  2. Databridge > Databridge Partners.

To configure the IDeaS extract job:

  1. Select Administration > Daily Processing > Additional End of Day Processing.
  2. Click Add Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Process
    Specify IDEASX as the process name and enter IDeaS extract job in the adjacent field.
    Status
    Select Active as the job status.
    Process Type
    Select Other Processes as the process type for the job.
    Process Link
    Select IDEASX.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click Submit. The IDeasX extract job is saved and updates the Additional End of Day Processes list.
  6. Select Administration > Databridge > Databridge Partners.
  7. Click New Record. A new partner record is inserted and the Record View tab is displayed.
  8. Specify this information:
    Partner
    Specify IDEAS as the partner and enter IDeaS Revenue Management in the adjacent field. The Partner ID is automatically populated with IDEAS.
  9. In the Credentials section specify this information:
    Infor HMS User ID
    Specify R5 identifying the Infor HMSuser. All inbound Databridge transactions from the partner are process using the user specified by this user ID.
    Infor HMS Password
    Enter the password for the Infor HMS user.
  10. Click Submit. The IDeaS partner record is saved.
  11. Click the Subscriptions tab.
  12. In the Subscription details section, specify this information:
    Event
    Select IDeaS as the webservice event.
    Enabled
    Verify that the Enabled checkbox is selected.
    Document Type
    Specify IDEASX as the document type.
    Address
    Specify the location to which the IDeaS extract will save the extract file. This must be a local drive or mounted network drive designated with a drive letter. For example, file:///drive:/directory.
    Note: Mapped network drives must be in the following format: drive_letter:\\directory. For example, file:///c:/app/NGPMS_SQL/data.
  13. Specify R5 in the User ID field. Specify the R5 password in the Password field. If you do not specify the R5 user ID and password the extract will not generate to the file directory specified when the extract is started manually from the Extract screen.
  14. In the Special Handling field, Specify DefaultMessageHandler/R01/R01/FileDeliverer.
  15. Click Submit. The record is saved.
