Creating rate levels

Use the Rate Levels page to create and maintain the rate levels. Rate levels are used to categorize rate plans for the purpose of booking restrictions.

To create a rate level:

  1. Select Rate and Sales > Revenue Management > Rate Levels.
  2. Specify this information:
    Rate Level
    Specify the code for the rate level.
    Description
    Specify the description for the rate level code.
    Long Description
    Specify the long description for the rate level code.
    Status
    Specify if the rate level is Active or Inactive.
    Used at CRS
    If you select this check box, the rate level is used by the Central Reservation System. If this check box is clear, the rate level is used only by the property management system.
