Guest Profiles

Guest Profiles are used to maintain key information about guests. A guest profile can be added through the Guest Profiles screen or is automatically created the first time a reservation or walk-in is made for a new guest. When a returning guest's profile is linked during the reservation or check-in process, information for that guest is copied to the guest stay. By keeping a profile of each guest you can streamline the reservation process and tie each guest's stay details together allowing you to provide a personal experience for each guest.

Some guests are associated to groups such as tour groups who may only stay one time at a hotel. The group booking's Record View and Delegate tabs contain a Create Inactive Profile check-box which when checked will cause all new profiles created to be set to status inactive. This keeps the user from having to go to the guest profile and set the profiles inactive. When the hotel markets to active profiles, these profiles will not be included.

The guest profile screen is organized by tab. The following tabs have an indicator which will display orange when information is present within the screen:
