Updating delegate rates

You can select one or more delegate records in the grid on Delegates tab and use Right Click to select the Delegate Rate Update option. This option allows you to specify new rates for selected delegates. You can select a rate plan that is configured on the Rates tab of Group Booking and apply it to existing delegate reservations. You can configure be up to 10 additional group rates with a particular group booking. All the additional group rate plan(s) associated with the selected group booking, along with the default group rate plan, are presented as possible sell option(s); subject to the availability of the room type(s) for the group.

To update the rates for the delegates:

  1. Select Group Sales > Group Booking > Delegates.
  2. Select one or more delegate records for which you want to update the rates.
  3. Right click to select the Delegate Rate Update option.
  4. Specify this information:
    Start Date
    Specify the date on which the new rate must be effective. By default the group booking start date is displayed. You can change the dates to any dates that are within the group booking start and end dates.
    End Date
    Specify the end date after which the rate is not effective. By default the group booking end date is displayed. You can change the dates to any dates that are within the group booking start and end dates.
    Rate Plan
    Specify the new rate plan. The rate plans that are available to be selected are defined in the Group Booking > Rates tab.
  5. Click Save to save the information. The updates to the reservation are carried out as the background job.
