Adding a trace to a group booking

Adding a trace to a group booking sends an electronic notification to the user's email address as a part of the end of day process. A trace can be added by selecting a defined trace, or created by the user. A trace alert will be added to the group booking if one exists on the rate plan assigned.

You can set a trace to completed manually before delivery by selecting the Completed check-box.

  1. Select Group Sales > Group Booking.
  2. Select a group booking, then click the Traces tab.
  3. Select a trace in Defined Trace or create a trace. If you select a trace, the trace details and delivery date information are shown. To create a trace, specify values in the remaining fields that you require. See additional details about this field:

    This field controls whether you specify information in the Delivery Date field or the Offset From and Days fields.

    Option Description
    Date To specify a calendar date in the Delivery Date field, select Date in this field.
    Offset From To specify information in the offset fields, select Offset From in this field.
  4. Click Submit.
