Creating a sub group

You can create a sub group to make separate reservations for a small group under an existing group booking. When a sub group is created the group that the sub group was created from is referred to as the master. A sub group must have the same stay dates or dates between the stay dates of the master group.

Information in the following group tabs is copied to the sub group:

  • Room Types
  • Rates
  • Block
  • Auto Transfer
  • Preferences
  • Notes
  • Comments
  • Documents

To create a sub group:

  1. Select Group Sales > Group Booking.
  2. On the List View tab, select a group booking.
  3. Click Create Sub Group.
  4. Specify the information that you require. See additional details about this field:
    Create Inactive Profiles
    Select this check box to have any profiles created for delegate reservations, automatically set to Inactive status. This is used for groups which members may only stay one time at the hotel.
  5. Click Save Record.
